Dr. Giuseppe Casale, founder of Antea Association,

has been awarded a golden medal for merit on Public Health by the President of the Italian Republic Carlo Azeglio Ciampi. He has been praised as an “admirable example of doctors engaged in the voluntary service who has put most of his energies in the terminal patients’ and their relatives’care and assistance.”

He is author of many books concerning , Oncology and Palliative Care.
